Catch-Ah-Fiya Reggae Mondays in a Great New Brooklyn Location!

The popular long-running Reggae networking and featured artists showcase event "Catch-Ah-Fiya Reggae Mondays" has moved to a new Brooklyn location called Prestige, situated right next to the Prospect Park subway station. Not only is it a l more spacious location it's also much easier to get to, best of all this event now offers free admission.

From its inception, the Catch-Ah-Fiya series has provided a rewarding performance platform for local up-and-coming NY area talent including visiting artists and DJ's who many believe should be on the public's radar. It has also been a great opportunity for Reggae lovers from all walks of life and persuasions to mingle and catch a great show in a relaxed One Love environment. We spoke to the event organizers and here's what they had to say:

"It's always difficult to make the transition from one venue to the next especially when you have a regular following. However the purpose of Catch-Ah-Fiya Mondays is to provide artists with an opportunity to be seen and heard so we are are extremely excited about this move because we can now provide fans with free admission and more motivation for new Reggae lovers to attend because this location is larger and easier to get to and too, we have more dates and can step up the number of monthly productions."

Catch-Ah-Fiya is the production of the social networking group Live Reggae NYC (LRNYC) on and is the largest NY area Reggae group of its type on the network. They offer members free and discount admission to select high-quality events and are dedicated to promoting conscious Reggae concerts, shows and parties in the NYC area.

Be sure to stop by and check out Catch-Ah-Fiya Reggae Mondays at Prestige located at 504 Flatbush Ave (Empire Blvd and Leffert) Brooklyn NY.  Doors open at 9 PM and of course admission is free! Music is by Resident selector Vaughn Allstar, King Crown International and radio co-host of 'Eastern Standard Time" 89.9FM WKCR (Columbia University Radio) hosted every Saturday from 8 - 12 Noon. A host of guest DJ's pass through weekly making for an exciting lineup of music. The showcase productions are hosted by H. Diggy of Whatz Up TV who always keeps the audience interacting and in stitches with his hysterical antics.
