R.I.P. Philip Smart
New York Reggae producer & engineer Philip Smart passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2014. Working out of the HC&F Recording Studio in NY, a location that he build and opened in 1982, Mr Smart produced some of the hottest Dancehall music in the world including: "Rikers Island” by Cocoa Tea and Nardo Ranks, several albums for Shaggy including Boombastic and "Hot Shot", Red Fox and Screechie Dan's "Pose Off" and "Shot Mek You Wiggle" by Junior Demus.
